Many Parishes do not have any organisations for men, they have children's, youth and women's organisations, but nothing for men!

It is a popular misconception that AMS is just another parish organisation calling incumbents to jeopardize their time by attending one more meeting. Nothing can be further from the truth.
AMS is a Brotherhood of Clergy and Laymen representing the men of the church.
It gives the men the opportunity to participate in its service instead of being mere onlookers and critics, it binds church men more closely together in a common effort of prayer, service and fellowship to help forward the work of the church amongst men.
